But those ads made us laugh, and they were more than just commercial breaks\u2014they became part of our daily life, with their catchy slogans stuck in our memories.<\/p>

Television commercials started appearing in the mid-80s, and it was a new experience for people back then. They didn\u2019t expect to see local products being advertised in such a visual way.<\/p>

By the 90s, Lebanese and Syrian artists started gaining recognition through commercials, like Haifa Wehbe in the “Dania Spaghetti” ad and Nicole Bardawil for “Buffalo Polish,” along with many Syrian actors like Abeer Shamseddine, Mohammed Kanoa, and Ayman Rida, who all began their careers in commercials before becoming famous actors.<\/p>
