This hotel was originally an old house, built in 1836 and later on became a luxury hotel. Beit Zafran features traditional Damascene decor. What distinguishes it is that it has been restored and maintained its historical character without changing its details that are around 350 years old. There is even an archaeologist who discovered two ancient arches within its design that are over two thousand years old.<\/p>    <p>The hotel also features antique furniture; the beds are over 80 years old, and there are tables and cabinets that are more than 100 years old. One of the hotel ponds has been converted into a swimming pool as many visitors enjoy swimming.<\/p>    <p><\/p>    <p>The hotel\u2019s interior walls are adorned with a deep red color, which sets it apart from other Damascene homes. The name \u201cTalisman\u201d means \u201cbringing good luck,\u201d so they\u2019ve adopted the blue hand symbol, known for warding off the evil eye, as their logo.<\/p>    <p>Reaching the hotel can be a bit complicated due to the narrow alleys in the Al-Amin neighborhood. However, the hotel management has prepared maps and written a guide for tourists for easy access.
