If you love engines, speed, and that heart-racing adrenaline, the Syrian Automobile Club is your ultimate destination. From drifting shows to speed races, go-karting to rallies, and thrilling live displays to international championships, this is where Damascus’ car enthusiasts come alive.
Founded in 1950, the club has been a cornerstone of Syrian motorsports for decades. By 1960, it became the official representative of Syria in the FIA (International Automobile Federation)—handling everything from organizing events to issuing internationally recognized driving licenses and triptyques. Today, it’s more than just an event organizer; it’s a gateway for drivers to take Syrian motorsports from local circuits to the global stage.
Whether it’s a speed race, where every second counts, or drift events showing jaw-dropping control and smoke-filled slides, the excitement never stops.
Go-karting shapes the next generation of racers, while the Damascus Auto Show has become a full-on festival. It is packed with modified cars, fire stunts, and a crowd that lives for every moment. And let’s not forget rally racing, testing skill, endurance, and nerves under pressure.
The Syrian Automobile Club organized three full rounds of Syria’s speed and drift championships. It also hosted two unforgettable Damascus Auto Show events and represented the country in the Middle East & North Africa Karting Cup at Lusail Circuit, Qatar.
